About the breed

Jacob sheep are a heritage breed that produce soft, naturally coloured and delightfully spotted fleeces, which range from white, through warm browns and greys, all the way to a deep brown-black.

They are also known, and easily recognized, for growing either two or four horns.

Believed to be closely related to ancient varieties of sheep raised in the Middle East, they were considered a "fashionable" breed in England in the 17th century. Personally, we think their look is timeless.
