SILK MOHAIR contains 60% kid mohair, 15% wool and 25% silk. It is the exclusive mohair yarn for the discerning knitter. One does not need many balls for knitting an airy and light garment. Well suited to knit together with other qualities.

Suggested Gauge / Needle Size

Knitting needle size: 4.5-6.0mm (US 7-10)
Knitting gauge: 19sts = 10cm (4") in stockinette stitch

Recommended gauge is large because of the halo; it can be knit anywhere between a worsted and bulky gauge depending on how open or dense you would like the fabric to be.

Suggested Care

Machine washable in cold water on wool cycle. Hand wash is recommended if machine does not have a wool cycle. Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry. Use mohair brush to release halo.
