Debbie Bliss Falkland Aran is a very soft, machine washable Merino wool in an Aran thickness. All the sheep raised on the Falkland Islands produce high-quality wools, but their Merino is especially sought after. The islands are free of the insects that can annoy and cause problems for Merino sheep raised in other climates, so their wool does not have to be as heavily processed to remove pollutants. The result is better conditions for the sheep, and a better product for the consumer.

The Merino wool this was spun from meets the standards to be considered an organic wool.
